2007 Refund and Transfer Policy See Rollover policy below:

• As is common with most road races, there will be no refunds for any reason
• Dangerous weather conditions or acts of nature could cause cancellation of event
• Event could potentially be re-scheduled because of said conditions
• Transfer of entry from one person to another is not permitted
• Transfer from half marathon to full marathon is permitted provided space is available for a $15 transfer fee plus the difference in entry fee.
• Transfer from the full marathon to the half is also permitted provided space is available for a $15 transfer fee, plus any difference in entrance fee from the original fee to the $80 half marathon entry fee. There will be no refund for any difference in fees.
• Transfer between the full or half marathon to the 5K is not permitted.
• To request a transfer, please do so in writing and mail your request to Maui Marathon, PO Box 330099, Kahului, Maui, Hi., 96733 with a check, money order or credit card number (MC or Visa only). Requests will be granted and processed based on space availability. The check should be made out to "Valley Isle Road Runners".
• Transfers between the Maui Marathon and Maui Half Marathon can occur at the Expo information booth prior to 6:00 pm on Saturday September 15, provided you pay the $15 transfer fee.

2007 Roll-Over Policy

• The 2007-2008 rollover opportunity has now passed. If you have not already requested a 2007-2008 rollover then it is too late - thanks.
• If you are not able to participate in the event for any reason, we will offer a "roll- over" to the September 2008 event provided the following requirements are met. Roll-over to the following year is valid for one year only and will not be extended under any circumstances

1. Roll-overs are not automatic and submission of a special roll-over application must be completed.
2. Notification of your request must be received either in writing or by email prior to September 1, 2007. Requests after September 1 will not be honored.
3. A second request for the actual 2008 "complimentary" roll-over application must be received in writing or by email between October 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007. Any requests for the complimentary roll-over entry form after that time frame will not be honored. Upon receipt of the second request, the special rollover entry form will be emailed to you.
